happy heart anniversary

On this day a mere 28 years ago on May 26, 1983 my mother (strongest, bravest woman I know) and my father (close personal friend of JC, yeah Him) entrusted their 13 year daughter's heart to Dr. Bowman (a true miracle worker) to perform his magic with precision.  Though it may have been one of the scariest days of my life (not to mention my mother's too)  I'm so glad we went for it and I am and will always be grateful to my family and doctors for renewing my life this day so many years ago.  Needless to say my heart is happy and though there have been some bumps along the way I can honestly say I would do it all over again.  So my intention throughout this blog is share my gratitude (and at times air my greivances)  in hopes that my heart will be blessed with another 28 years of good living.
